My well-established Engineering client based close to Cavershamis looking to recruit a Machine Operator initially on an ongoing temporary basisto work on a rotating double day shift (06.00 – 14.00 / 14.00 – 22.00). Candidates will ideallyhave previous engineering / manufacturing experience and be familiar with engineering practices, machine health & safety and equipment, hand tools and measuring equipment (vernier calipers etc).
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience operating machines within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Have general engineering knowledge and experience of Machine operating and/or setting.
- Experience in quality checking of parts using micrometres / vernier calipers.
- Happy working a rotating double day shift.
- Any knowledge of sheet metal is desirable but not essential.
This role will be on a double day shift working 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pmwhich will rotate weekly. A competitive basic salary of £12.80 per hour (£24,960 per annumis offered to the successful candidate.
