CNC Programmer
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum
Hours: 4.5-day working week - No Shift Work
Contract: Permanent
The Opportunity
We are working with an established manufacturing company looking to recruit an experienced CNC Programmer to join their engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a competent CNC Programmer looking for a stable, days-based position offering a competitive salary and a 4.5-day working week.
The company uses Renishaw programming systems, but previous experience with this software is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop and optimise CNC programmes for manufacturing operations.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Ensure programmes produce components accurately and efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to improve machining processes and reduce cycle times.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CNC programming issues.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong CNC programming skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good understanding of machining processes, tooling and engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to improving manufacturing efficiency.
Renishaw programming experience is not required. The company is happy to train an experienced programmer on its systems.
