Camberley – Hybrid

Day rate: £450/day

Contract – 3 months initially

Fortis are working with a client to recruit an electrical design engineer to work on water and wastewater treatment projects. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers to provide high-quality design services that meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to sustainable solutions in water engineering, working with a team where your contributions are recognised and make a tangible difference.

  • Design & Development: Create detailed electrical designs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pump stations, treatment plants, pipelines and valves.
  • Collaborative Engineering: Work closely with civil, process, and instrumentation engineers to integrate multidisciplinary designs into comprehensive systems.
  • Project Management: Manage and oversee project deliverables, ensuring designs are completed on time and within budget, and in line with client specifications.
  • Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure that all designs meet relevant industry regulations, standards, and health and safety requirements.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide technical support, and present design solutions.
  • Innovation & Sustainability: Contribute to the development of sustainable solutions that promote efficient use of resources and reduce environmental impact.

We are looking for multiple electrical design engineers and able to interview quickly and start candidates almost immediately. Although this is a contract position we are also looking for permanent candidates for this position and other positions based around water and wastewater projects.
