Fortis Recruitment Solutions are working exclusively with a precision engineering company based in the Biggin Hill area to recruit an experienced senior assembly technician to join their team. The senior assembly technician will be experienced in mechanical assembly and fitting, any experience in brazing would be an advantage. You will need to have worked in highly regulated environments and have great attention to detail. This position is 37.5 hrs / week over 4 days (Mon – Thurs) and you will need to be able to gain a Baseline security vetting. The assembly technician comes with 25 days holiday, an improved pension offering amongst other benefits.
The Role
- Manufacturing assemblies and sub-assemblies to documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Lean manufacturing processes
- Maintain documentation fully completed and presentable to Clients
- Experience in precision mechanical assembly and fitting
- Experience brazing
- Ability to read engineering drawings
We will be interviewing for this in the new year and hoping to start someone late January or early February.
