Location: Ardley IBA processing facility, Oxfordshire
We are seeking to appoint an experienced 360 Excavator Operator to support our 75,000 tpa processing plant based in Ardley, Oxfordshire. The facility is co‑located with Viridor’s EfW and processes the incinerated bottom ash to produce recycled metals and a secondary aggregate for construction projects. The primary role of the operator is to prepare the IBA ready for processing and to pull up the fresh IBA into windrows for storage. The role will consist of safe, effective and efficient operation and includes carrying out daily safety checks of the 25t excavator on site.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 25t 360 Excavator or similar
- Meet operational KPI’s
- Carry out health and safety inspections
- Report defects and manage small maintenance duties
- Follow defined procedures and safe systems of work
- Support all operational activities on site as instructed by management
