We are seeking a passionate and organised Librarian to join our academy on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and develop our library resources, support student learning, and encourage a love of reading and research across all year groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the academy library, including book cataloguing and resource organisation.
- Support students in accessing and using library resources effectively.
- Promote literacy and reading initiatives across the academy.
- Assist staff with research and resource development for teaching.
- Supervise library users and maintain a welcoming, safe environment.
- Contribute to library-related events and activities.
