This is a cross-border logistics commercial role. Candidates without parcel, freight forwarding, or 3PL backgrounds won't be a fit. Please don't apply if your experience sits in SaaS, fintech, or general B2B sales.

Fortio is a direct injection (DI) cross-border carrier. We move e-commerce parcels by injecting them directly into destination postal and final-mile networks, bypassing the layers of brokerage, consolidation, and handoffs that most international carriers stack on top of a shipment. Our competitive advantage is structural: we own and operate the destination infrastructure that most cross-border carriers rent or broker. Sortation, injection, and final-mile relationships in our key destination markets sit inside our own footprint, not behind a chain of third parties. That gives us cost control, service control, and visibility that resellers and aggregators cannot match, and it's what makes our pricing and transit times defensible.

Lanes already running include HK→SYD/PER/NZ/UK, CN→LAX, US→CA, and US-LA/DFW→UK. The UK is our next priority market. We have the infrastructure, the carrier relationships, and the lanes. What we don't yet have is a commercial owner on the ground. That's this role.

What you'll own:

  • Primary focus: UK outbound to Australia and New Zealand.
  • Target audience: UK-based 3PLs with ANZ-bound volume, and UK e-commerce retailers shipping direct to ANZ consumers.
  • Secondary focus: US→UK and CN→UK inbound.

Your job is to help them see it, and to position Fortio as the cleaner alternative. Full autonomy. No inherited accounts, no quarterly sales-ops playbook to follow. You build the UK book.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years in commercial / BD / sales in cross-border logistics, international parcel, freight forwarding, or e-commerce fulfilment.
  • Demonstrable track record of winning 3PL or e-commerce retailer accounts as a hunter.
  • Genuine understanding of international parcel economics: linehaul, injection, final mile, duty and tax, returns.
  • Existing relationships in the UK 3PL and e-commerce shipping community.
  • Self-directed operator who can build pipeline from a standing start.
  • UK-based, full right to work.
  • Strongly preferred: prior exposure to direct injection or postal network access, experience selling into ANZ-bound flows, Pipedrive familiarity.

Compensation:

£48,000 base salary, 3% commission on top-line revenue from accounts you originate and win. The first £48,000 of cumulative top-line revenue generated in the annual period covers your base salary. Once that hurdle is cleared, every additional pound of top-line revenue earns 3% commission. This structure is deliberate. It's built to reward people who can generate real revenue, not people who can look busy.

How to apply:

Apply via LinkedIn. In your note, tell us: One UK→ANZ or UK inbound account you'd target in your first 90 days, and why; Your view on the current state of the UK cross-border parcel market, in two or three sentences; Confirm you're available to commence mid to late July 2026. We're more interested in a clear, concrete summary of what you've done than in a long cover letter.
