We are currently seeking a dynamic Enterprise Systems Engineering Manager to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.
You would act as the technical leader for the Corporate and Core Enterprise verticals, partnering closely with sales leadership and technical teams to drive strategic growth, technical excellence, and customer success across the Corporate, Core Enterprise, FSI, Business, and Industry segments.
As an Enterprise Systems Engineering Manager, you will:
- Lead, coach, and develop a highly skilled Systems Engineering team through performance management, mentoring, and ongoing training.
- Set clear expectations for team deliverables, objectives, and performance metrics.
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor new team members to support the growth of the Corporate and Core Enterprise business.
- Partner closely with Enterprise Sales Leaders to develop and execute strategic account plans that maintain, secure, and grow Fortinet’s footprint across Corporate and Core Enterprise customers.
- Align key technical features, capabilities, and solutions with customer needs and business objectives.
- Collaborate with escalation management teams to support complex customer engagements.
- Build strong relationships within the team, internally across Fortinet, and externally with key customers and partners.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to deliver successful contract bids and RFx responses.
- Promote knowledge sharing within the team and across other sales verticals.
- Apply and reinforce organisational processes, methodologies, and best practices in team leadership and execution.
- Represent Fortinet as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers across the Corporate and Core Enterprise segments.
We Are Looking For:
- An insightful and influential collaborator to join our team. We encourage you to apply for this position if you have the following qualities:
- Proven leadership experience managing technical or systems engineering teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Eight to ten years of general networking industry experience, including practical knowledge of Cloud (AWS and Azure), Routing, Switching, VPN (IPSEC and SSL), LAN, WAN, Network and Endpoint Security, Intrusion Detection, AntiVirus, and ATP.
- Five to eight years of experience in technical or pre‑sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
- Thorough understanding of the pre‑sales engineering process and sales processes.
- Experience working with enterprise customers; experience in Corporate or Core Enterprise segments desirable.
- Strategic mindset with a customer‑centric approach and experience developing cost‑effective solutions.
- Ability to work effectively within diverse, highly skilled teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience managing technical projects and leading teams of highly technical individuals.
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and adaptable to evolving business needs.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
