At Fortinet, our mission is to safeguard people, devices, and data everywhere. We are currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business. Located in the Bank area of central London, the Fortinet office has excellent transport links and is home to development, product, customer success, sales, and solution engineering teams. With a dedicated social space and superb facilities, this role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working and collaborating in person, with one day of flexible remote work per week.

As a Program Manager, you will support Fortinet's data security team, whose mission is to help enterprise customers protect their sensitive data and Intellectual Property and address regulatory compliance requirements by identifying insider risks and implementing data loss prevention policies.

About the role:

  • Ensure timely project scheduling, execution, and delivery by working closely with UK-based product, engineering, documentation, and customer support teams.
  • Collaborate with additional cross-functional teams located in Europe, the US, and Canada to share project and program information, identify dependencies, and resolve critical issues.
  • Own and improve the feature development lifecycle and release process, including monthly feature planning, quarterly roadmap reviews, and bi-annual innovation summits.
  • Lead and coordinate sprint planning, feature syncs, retrospectives, and team meetings.
  • Track project status, priorities, and schedules; ensure issues are identified, resolved, and escalated when necessary.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication through daily/weekly status reporting.
  • Ensure alignment with compliance, risk, and governance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, DORA).
  • Provide coaching and mentoring in a collaborative and empathetic environment.
  • Translate technical concepts into business goals and actionable plans.

We Are Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in program/project management for software development.
  • Strong background in capacity planning, progress tracking, and release management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to give and receive honest, empathetic, and constructive feedback.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience owning a portfolio of features/projects, scoping requirements, and planning milestones as an active resource for technical teams.
  • Highly desirable: Experience with large-scale platforms (cloud technologies) and complex interdependent systems.
  • Experience running projects in GitLab.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, DORA).
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools for project management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate).
