Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for European and American entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS/US GAAP/local GAAP requirements.
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including intercompany balances and foreign currency transactions, accurately and timely.
- Support statutory reporting, external audits, and tax filings, liaising with auditors and tax advisors.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations such as VAT, GST, corporate tax, and transfer pricing.
- Maintain and improve internal controls, financial policies, and processes for compliance and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and automation within finance.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reports as needed by management.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 3-5+ years of experience in financial accounting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and local statutory reporting.
- Experience in an international, multi-entity environment, preferably in Europe & The Americas.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and Excel.
- Experience working with external auditors and tax authorities.
- Solid experience with month-end close processes, reconciliations, and journal postings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.

This role reports to the Controller, EMEA.
