Our mission is to protect people, devices, and data everywhere and we’re looking for a talented Solutions Architect to help us deliver on that mission across the UK.
The UK+Ireland Solutions and Strategy group supports our customers in Public Sector, Enterprise, and Commercial segments plus our Partner Teams. The focus of the team is on working closely with Sales Leadership in defining and driving new growth strategies and initiatives, and leading senior‑level strategic customer engagements. The role is also responsible for supporting key field marketing strategies tied to specific vertical markets and key technology growth areas (events, webinars, executive briefings, etc.).
As well as building strong relationships with Sales Leadership in the target verticals you will be supporting, you’ll also be expected to become a trusted business advisor to our customers and partners, working closely with account teams to drive adoption of Fortinet’s industry‑leading solutions. You’ll play a key role in helping to define the innovative solutions that customers are looking to deploy in key vertical markets and in addressing complex networking and security challenges with confidence.
What You’ll Do- Help to define the technology go‑to‑market strategy for specific verticals and groups of target customers/partners, identifying key growth initiatives and supporting the development of broader go‑to‑market and sales plans.
- Gain a strong understanding of key customer business and technology requirements and leverage Fortinet’s broad portfolio to convert these into effective, market‑leading solutions.
- Develop and deliver engaging strategic presentations, executive engagements, and workshops to help position the technology strategy.
- Work with customers and partners to define and create multi‑year transformational technology roadmaps.
- Support sales and partner enablement activities to ensure broad adoption of specific solutions and go‑to‑market strategies in the selected focus areas.
- Work cross‑functionally with partners, customers, and internal teams (e.g., product managers and specialist engineers) to ensure successful solution creation and delivery.
- Maintain deep expertise across Fortinet’s portfolio, industry trends, growth drivers, and key emerging technology areas (e.g., AI, evolving regulatory landscape, SASE, hybrid cloud, IT/OT convergence, hybrid work).
- Provide senior support for strategic sales opportunities, including input on technology strategy, competitive knowledge and positioning, support for the RFI/RFP response process, and create/leverage best practices that can be reused in other sales opportunities.
- Act as a strategic mentor, senior advocate, and knowledge resource for partners and colleagues, specifically within the target verticals.
We’re seeking skilled, experienced, customer‑focused professionals who can demonstrate industry and technology expertise, thrive in dynamic environments, and enjoy solving complex challenges. You may be a great fit if you have:
- Experience in business/technical consulting, either in a customer, partner, or vendor‑oriented environment.
- Industry knowledge and expertise in key business and technology domains.
- Knowledge of key cybersecurity technologies such as network security, SASE, SD‑WAN, Wi‑Fi/5G, Zero Trust, SOC/NOC tools, and cloud.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior business and technical executive audiences.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers and partners.
- A desire to contribute to a high‑performing and inclusive team.
At Fortinet, we believe that diverse perspectives drive innovation. We’re committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. You’ll join a collaborative team with access to continuous learning, career development, and a Total Rewards package that supports your health, well‑being, and financial future.
