This position is working out of our Moorgate, London office, 3 days per week. At Fortinet, our mission is to safeguard people, devices, and data everywhere. We are currently seeking a dynamic Technical Writer to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.

As a Technical Writer, you will:

  • Write and publish documentation, such as release notes, deployment guides, administration guides, quick start guides, and reference manuals.
  • Use images and diagrams to supplement text and aid understanding of complex concepts.
  • Provide user-friendly text for tooltips and other user interface elements.
  • Receive and address feedback with the goal of filling content gaps and continually improving content.
  • Contribute to a strong, nimble, positive, and effective team.

We are looking for an insightful and influential collaborator who brings the following skills and experience:

  • At least 4 years’ technical writing experience in Agile software development environments.
  • BA or BS degree, preferably in communications, English, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience using MadCap Flare and Git.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
  • Strong command of standard American English grammar and usage.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, user-friendly language.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high documentation standards.
  • Proactive in gathering information from engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Open to feedback and collaborative in refining content.
