As a Technical Writer, you will:
- Write and publish documentation, such as release notes, deployment guides, administration guides, quick start guides, and reference manuals.
- Use images and diagrams to supplement text and aid understanding of complex concepts.
- Provide user-friendly text for tooltips and other user interface elements.
- Receive and address feedback with the goal of filling content gaps and continually improving content.
- Contribute to a strong, nimble, positive, and effective team.
We are looking for an insightful and influential collaborator who brings the following skills and experience:
- At least 4 years’ technical writing experience in Agile software development environments.
- BA or BS degree, preferably in communications, English, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Experience using MadCap Flare and Git.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
- Strong command of standard American English grammar and usage.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, user-friendly language.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high documentation standards.
- Proactive in gathering information from engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Open to feedback and collaborative in refining content.
