Our mission is to safeguard people, devices, and data everywhere. We are currently seeking an Inside Channel Systems Engineer to support our rapidly growing Channel organisation. In this role, you will act as the technical backbone for our Inside Channel Account Managers (iCAMs) and the broader Channel team, providing technical enablement, partner engagement, and event support across the UK region. You will work closely with partners, distributors, and internal stakeholders to drive partner readiness and successful adoption of Fortinet solutions.

Responsibilities
- Partner closely with iCAMs to support partners throughout the engagement lifecycle, from discovery to technical validation.
- Support high-volume partner engagement, including onboarding, enablement, and technical guidance for key Channel accounts.
- Deliver technical enablement sessions, product updates, and workshops to strengthen partner capability and confidence.
- Provide technical support during Channel events, webinars, roadshows, and partner programmes.
- Assist partners in qualifying opportunities from a technical standpoint and aligning them with Fortinet solutions.
- Participate in partner calls to explain features, integrations, and solution benefits clearly and effectively.
- Deliver product demonstrations, whiteboarding sessions, and light proof-of-concept support to help partners progress opportunities.
- Translate partner and customer requirements into appropriate Fortinet solution recommendations.
- Maintain working knowledge across Fortinet’s portfolio, industry trends, and emerging security technologies such as cloud security, SASE, SD‑WAN, and SOC solutions.
- Collaborate with technical support, engineering, and product teams to resolve issues and ensure successful partner outcomes.
- Support documentation and updates in Salesforce.
- Contribute to knowledge‑sharing by mentoring partners and colleagues on Fortinet technologies.
Qualifications
- Experience in pre‑sales engineering, technical consulting, or a customer or partner‑facing technical role.
- Understanding of networking and cybersecurity fundamentals, including Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN/WAN, and Network Security.
- Familiarity with modern security architectures such as SASE, SD‑WAN, Zero Trust, SOC tools, and cloud security.
- Working knowledge of DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and common security protocols.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is desirable.
- Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper‑V, or KVM is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships with partners, distributors, and internal teams.
- A desire to contribute to a high‑performing, inclusive, and diverse team environment.
- Industry certifications (for example NSE, CISSP, CCNP) are advantageous.
