We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team at our Sheffield site in S26 6NQ.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries, pricing requests, delivery information and samples by telephone.
  • Check addresses, pricing, discounts, product and haulage availability.
  • Enter quotations, sales orders, sample requests and schedules.
  • Investigate credit requests and additional invoices.
  • Prepare credit notes.
  • Liaise with transport.
  • Manage order book and schedule clearance.
  • Check acknowledgements.
  • Soft sales – work with external teams and customers to promote stocks and increase sales.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Evidence of working as part of an effective team.
  • Participation in training events, which may necessitate travel and overnight stays.
  • Excellent telephone manner and accurate keyboard skills.
  • Flexible and enthusiastic; able to work under pressure and use own initiative.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including email, Excel and Word.
  • Full driving licence.
