Responsibilities:
- Determine product requirements and produce suitable drawings from customer enquiries.
- Deliver increased sales and improved profitability through specification within the building products sector.
- Develop new and existing customer relationships to maximise the full potential of all accounts within the territory.
- Answer technical customer queries via e‑mail, telephone and in‑person visits.
- Manage project administration, ensuring that drawings, correspondence and other project documents are filed and maintained.
- Deliver customer quotations within required timelines and company expectations.
- Influence and participate in departmental ways of working to help maximise opportunities.
- Weekly chase of quotes via telephone and e‑mail and maintain relationships.
- Keep up to date with changes in British standards and building regulations.
- Monitor project stages to ensure costs remain in line with forecasts.
- Set up new customer accounts and liaise with QS’s and buyers to settle accounts.
