Location: Telford - If the successful candidate is local to Telford they will be expected to come into the office once or twice a week. Otherwise, any ad hoc attendance will be agreed with the team.

Job Description:

The job on offer involves efficient management of new Security Clearance applications, renewals, transfers and shares, which is key to the timely provision of suitably cleared resources for our contracts with the client.

Your role:

  • Working as part of the MU Security team, you will be responsible for the accurate management of the Higher Clearance application process, liaising with both internal and external clients.
  • Prompt and accurate administration of the Higher Clearance process.
  • Assist applicants and Line Managers in the completion of applications.
  • Respond to Higher Clearance queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accurate record keeping in local tooling.
  • Maintenance of clearance statistics to monitor clearance approval timescales.
  • Liaison with internal applicants, stakeholders and the HMRC Vetting teams.
  • Attend progress meetings.
