The Role

They are seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of innovative software and AI-focused projects across a range of public sector programmes. Working closely with technical teams and customer stakeholders, you will help ensure projects are delivered effectively, securely, and in line with operational requirements. This role sits at the intersection of engineering delivery, stakeholder management, and operational coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of technology projects from discovery through to deployment.
  • Act as a key point of contact for public sector and regulated industry stakeholders.
  • Coordinate agile delivery teams, removing blockers and supporting effective collaboration.
  • Ensure projects align with business objectives, timelines, and operational requirements.
  • Manage risks, governance, and compliance requirements within secure environments.
  • Support delivery planning, reporting, documentation, and resource coordination.

Requirements

  • Experience managing software, digital, AI, or technology projects.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working across agile and structured delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, evolving environments.
  • Experience working with public sector, defence, healthcare, or regulated clients is highly desirable.
  • Eligible and willing to undergo UK Security Clearance.

Technical & Delivery Experience

  • Experience with some of the following is beneficial: Jira and agile delivery tooling.
  • Scrum and hybrid delivery models.
  • Governance, compliance, and documentation management.
  • Working within secure, restricted, or air-gapped environments.
  • Exposure to cloud, AI, or data-focused technology programmes.
  • Understanding of standards such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
