The role involves helping defence and security organisations design, set up, and deliver large scale capital programmes. This includes:
- Shaping programme strategy
- Building operating models
- Embedding scaled agile delivery
- Establishing governance and PMO functions
- Developing programme capability across the client organisation
You will work directly with senior client stakeholders, lead workstreams, contribute to business development, and help shape how the practice delivers major programmes across the sector.
Major Programmes practice: You'd be joining a globally recognised organisation with a strong track record of delivering some of the most complex capital programmes in the defence and security domains. The team works with clients running transformations of national significance, combining strategy, delivery and engineering expertise to drive meaningful, lasting outcomes.

- Strong experience in one or more of the following areas, ideally gained within a complex public sector or defence environment:
- Programme strategy and delivery, including operating model design, scaled agile, and capability development.
- Governance and PMO setup, including reporting frameworks, controls, and assurance.
- Programme management, including planning, risk, dependency mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
All applicants must hold active SC or DV clearance.
Working arrangements: Hybrid working primarily across Bristol/Corsham and London, with flexibility built in around client and team requirements.
