The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

To develop and maintain effective quality systems in relation to legal compliance, food safety and quality requirements. To ensure all technical requirements are implemented and reviewed. To support Operations in the development of process and procedural opportunities that exist for the benefit and improvement of the Company whilst maintaining agreed standards.

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday

Reporting to: Quality Manager

  • Internal auditing and maintaining the internal audit program
  • Work with the site to deliver audit compliance, GMP improvements, and non-conformance improvement initiatives
  • Document Control as part of FSQMS
  • Maintenance of Technical Systems and customer specific technical requirements
  • Raw material Specifications – maintenance and review
  • Supplier Approval, Performance Monitoring and action plans
  • Finished Product Specifications, review and amendments
  • Collation of complaint data then commissioning and validation results & resultant trend analysis
  • Work closely with our customers and site to coordinate a complaints reduction plan, through finding root causes and putting appropriate corrective measures in place
  • Internal and Supplier Non-Conformance issue and resolution

Person Specification:

  • Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to manage audit schedules, allocate audits and follow up on reports is essential.
  • A high level of numeric and IT competency specifically Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • A proactive approach and a willingness to show initiative and solve problems will also be required.
  • A professional, positive, and flexible attitude required.
  • Be prompt, reliable and trustworthy.
  • The ability to build good relationships and communicate effectively at all levels is essential.
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and maintain excellent attention to detail.
