We are seeking enthusiastic and flexible individuals to join our pool of casual lecturers within our Business and Health & Social Care teams. These roles are ideal for professionals with teaching experience or industry experience who are available to cover short-term, at short notice, including sickness cover, staff absence, or timetable gaps. Please note casual lecturers in Business must have previous teaching experience across the curriculum of Business/Administration/Accounting curriculum at SCQF levels 4-8 and casual lecturers in Health & Social Care must have a recognised Nursing qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to learners across a range of levels (typically SCQF level 4 to level 8).
  • Follow existing schemes of work and adapt materials to meet learner needs.
  • Provide feedback and support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with curriculum teams to ensure continuity and quality of delivery.
