Lecturer - Administration and IT 43,402 - 52,247 (pro rata) 0.48 FTE / 16.8 Hours Based at Alloa Campus Fixed term to June 2027 The Department of Business, Administration, Accounting and Management are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Lecturer in Administration and IT to work with learners across a range of units at SCQF level 5 and 6. The post holder will deliver support and learning opportunities for parents seeking to improve their Administration, IT and employability skills as part of a collaborative work-based partnership with NHS Forth Valley. Working days will be Monday, Thursday and Friday 9am-3.15pm. Applications from candidates seeking fractional working arrangements may also be considered. You will produce high quality learning, teaching and assessment materials, and deliver excellent teaching within the specialist area of Administration, IT and Employability Skills. You will work with others to develop new approaches to teaching, making use of learning technologies. Ensuring that the curriculum is relevant and up-to-date, you will contribute to the development of elements of provision and enhance students' learning through providing subject support. You will naturally have a strong learner focus. About You You will be educated to at least degree level, or equivalent, with relevant qualifications in Administration and IT. Ideally, you will have recent experience of delivering Qualifications Scotland accredited Administration and IT (Microsoft Word and Excel in particular) units. You will have experience of developing innovative teaching practice along with good organisational skills and excellent ICT skills. You will also possess good knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements and a sound understanding of quality enhancement processes and standards.
