A secondment opportunity has arisen to join the FVC Business & Communities Team as a Job Coach to DFN Project SEARCH.
The successful candidate will provide a range of practical support to young adults with learning disabilities and/or autism to achieve work related goals contributing to greater independence. This will enable Project SEARCH interns to move closer to, obtain and sustain paid employment.
The role involves individuals in specific job skills, in a range of working environments, all currently based within Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
You should hold an HNC in an appropriate field or have significant suitable previous work experience, as well as excellent communication, team working, planning and organisational skills. The Job Coach forms an integral part of the DFN Project SEARCH delivery model in partnership with Falkirk Council, NHSFV and SERCO.
The post is temporary until 31 August 2027 due to service requirement. The successful candidate will be required to join the PVG scheme.
