The Department of Business, Administration, Accounting and Management are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Lecturer in Accounting to work with learners across SCQF levels 4 to 8. Applications from candidates seeking fractional working arrangements will also be considered.
\n
You will produce high quality learning, teaching and assessment materials, and deliver excellent teaching within the specialist area of Accounting.
\n
You will work with others to develop new approaches to teaching, making use of learning technologies.
\n
Ensuring that the curriculum is relevant and up-to-date, you will contribute to the development of elements of provision and enhance students' learning through providing subject support. You will naturally have a strong learner focus.
\n
About You
\n
You will be educated to at least degree level, or equivalent, with relevant qualifications in Accounting.
\n Ideally, you will have recent experience of delivering Qualifications Scotland accredited Accounting units.
\n You will have experience of developing innovative teaching practice along with good organisational skills and evidence of appropriate ICT skills.
\n
You will also possess good knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements and a sound understanding of quality enhancement processes and standards.
\n
