Cook 27,399 - 28,395 1.0 FTE / 35 Hours Based at Falkirk Campus Permanent There is a rare opportunity for a full time Cook, based at our award winning Falkirk campus refectory.

The role comprises general kitchen duties such as preparing a range of hot and cold food, cleaning of the kitchen areas and supporting the Chef Trainer.

Training will be given, but you must have a strong work ethic and a positive, can do attitude.

You will be working within a small team to deliver high quality food to the staff, students and visitors.

You will also be working alongside trainee students who are learning under the Chef Trainer in the Refectory kitchen and must have a supportive, patient attitude for this environment.

Together with a Professional Cookery Level 2 qualification and a Food Hygiene Certificate, preferably at Intermediate level, you will have knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety best practice.

In addition, you will have experience in food preparation within a catering, restaurant or hotel environment.
