The Estates Department wish to appointment an Active Travel Co-ordinator who will be responsible for developing, leading and supporting the delivery of activities to promote walking, wheeling and cycling across all our campuses. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students and staff at the college to raise the profile of active travel through events and initiatives which contributes to the aims of the Strategic Travel Plan.
You will be responsible for developing a programme which will engage, encourage and support people to consider more environmentally friendly and active modes of travel.
You will have high levels of customer service, excellent organisation and communication skills. You will also have the ability to work proactively and under your own initiative, whilst aiming for new, improved ways of undertaking tasks.
The successful candidate should hold an SCQF Level 7 or equivalent in a relevant subject area, cycle ride leader and first aid qualified.
This Active and Sustainable Travel Project has been made possible thanks to a People and Place grant. People and Place grants are funded by the Scottish Government and are administered and supported by SEStran.
This is a fixed-term position until end of March 2026, covering our 3 campuses in Alloa, Falkirk and Stirling.
