About The Role
Based at the Port of Grangemouth, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our busy Engineering team to play an integral role in our day-to-day engineering operations whilst advancing their career within the industry. - Maintenance, repair and fault finding of electrical systems within the Port; including ship to shore cranes, straddle carriers, distribution networks and lock gate infrastructure.
- Installation and maintenance of LV electrical distribution systems, lighting systems and control circuits.
- Undertaking training as an Authorised Person for operating and maintaining HV distribution equipment.
- Developing an in-depth working knowledge of plant equipment and associated drawings in order to minimise downtime when repairs are required.
- Escalating any equipment damage to Supervisory staff and liaising with operational staff to inform of timescales for repairs.
- Implementing best practice maintenance techniques to improve reliability efficiency.
