We’re offering individuals the opportunity to develop their skills and progress their careers through our Warehouse Operative apprenticeship. Over two years, you’ll gain practical experience, build specialist knowledge, and work towards a recognised qualification – Modern Apprenticeship – Freight Logistics.
We will hold our assessment day for this role on 22nd July 2026 at the Port of Grangemouth, where you will have the chance to meet some of the team and to find out more about the role and the apprenticeship. We will be in touch before then to let you know if you have been selected to attend.
About The Role
What you will learn:
- During this apprenticeship, you will gain practical experience in warehouse and logistics operations, including learning how to safely operate a Forklift Truck (FLT).
- You will develop an understanding of how supply chains and the logistics industry work, while building key skills in stock handling, goods movement, and warehouse processes.
- The apprenticeship will also provide training in health and safety, ensuring goods are moved safely, securely, and efficiently within a busy operational environment.

What are we looking for?
- A minimum of three National 5 qualifications including Nat 5 Maths, Nat 5 English and Nat 5 in a Technical Subject
- Individuals who are able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the work that we do at the port, and are looking to build valuable skills for your future career
- Full UK working rights
- A full UK driving licence is preferred; candidates actively working towards obtaining their licence will also be considered

What is the Application Process?
