An opportunity has arisen for a Composite & Team Mechanical Support to join the Jaguar TCS Racing department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.

About the role

To provide composite component assembly, repair and mechanical support for the Jaguar Formula E Team.

What you will do

Primary function

  • Bring the expertise, process and hands‑on ability necessary to provide the Jaguar Formula E Team with composite component assembly and repair on event and at the factory.
  • Support the Race, Test and factory teams in their operational goals, being able to assist with other hands‑on team requirements as required.
  • Job Requirements
  • Assemble, adjust, repair and disassemble the team’s composite components on event and at the factory.
  • Assemble / repair / maintain components, pit and garage equipment and car hardware as required.
  • Assemble and maintain race and test garage infrastructures and hardware both on event and when at the factory.
  • Provide hands on support for factory operations as required.
  • Ideally, possess a good vehicle wrapping skillset; able to confidently wrap complex bodywork and garage infrastructure components.
  • Provide feedback of any component issues and problems.
  • Adhere to all Jag FE and wider business processes and policies.
  • Follow all safety regulations in all venues.

  • Adequate composite trackside assembly and on event repair experience, in a motorsport environment.
  • A confident team player, familiar with the fast paced and ever‑changing requirements of a race and test team.

  • This position may require lifting, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity.

Fast‑paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands.

Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7‑post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids.
