Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal People.
Roster: 7D,7N,14R FIFO ex Perth
Fortescue are presently looking for qualified Electricians to join our OPF team at Iron Bridge mine site. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow within a high-performance team at our state-of-the-art magnetite ore processing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and scope continuous improvement opportunities
- Raise notifications and work orders as required
- Perform breakdown and fault-finding on fixed plant equipment
- Conduct preventative and modular maintenance on fixed plant machinery
- Participate in statutory testing and inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
Qualifications And Experience
- Electrical trade qualification
- Valid WA 'A' class electrical worker’s license
- High voltage certification and HV switching experience are highly desirable but not mandatory
- Prior experience as an electrical tradesperson no matter how long or background, we are looking for new to industry team members to join us
- Basic understanding of electrical fundamentals, with a proactive approach to learning
- Proficient with computers and maintenance management software.
