An opportunity has arisen for a No 1 Mechanic to join the Jaguar TCS Racing department in an exciting work environment.
About the role
To manage all test car and assembly build activities ensuring Technical Drawings and Bulletins are captured and adhered to, relevant spares are defined and available and that build schedules are followed. Provide trackside vehicle build and lead test mechanics group for all test events.
What you will do
- Manage all test car and rig build activities ensuring hardware is assembled correctly using Technical Drawings, Technical Bulletins and Build Specification documentation whilst ensuring agreed build schedules are adhered to.
- Ensure the Test team are adhering to defined HSE policy both trackside and at the factory to ensure safe running of the car at all times (safety checks, signage, PPE etc).
- In conjunction with the Parts Co-ordinator, ensure all test hardware usage is captured accurately to allow for prompt recording in lifing software after every test / rig use.
- Test Team pit equipment responsibility. Ensure the test team pit equipment is available and at the correct spec, remaining race relevant for ease of.
