With a rich heritage in racing and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of electric mobility, Jaguar TCS Racing combines passion, expertise, and cutting-edge technology to compete at the highest levels of motorsport.</p> <p>An opportunity has arisen for a <b>Cost Cap Analyst</b> to join the Jaguar TCS Racing department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. </p> <p> </p> <p><b>About the role</b></p> <p>A key role to ensure the financial integrity and compliance of the Formula E team with cost cap regulations, whilst balancing this effectively with the goals and objectives of motorsport racing.</p> <p><b> </b></p> <p><b>What you will do</b></p> <ul><li>Work closely with the Senior Finance Analyst and the Formula E team to ensure compliance with the cost cap regulations set forth by the FIA.</li> <li>Stay abreast of the latest cost cap regulations and guidance, ensuring that all financial practices align with the governing body’s requirements. </li> <li>Analyse team expenditure, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and identifying potential cost overruns.</li> <li>Prepare and maintain analytical reports on the current and projected cost cap position each season.</li> <li>Support the budget and forecasting process for the Formula E projects, identifying ways to best track against cost cap requirements, identify issues and resolve them quickly. </li> <li>Support the Formula E reporting process to ensure that financial actuals are up to date and accurate. </li> <li>Support the FIA’s cost cap audit process.</li> </ul><p><b> </b></p> <p><b>About you </b></p> <ul><li>Proven experience in financial analysis, challenging norms and driving new ideas</li> <li>Proficient with ERP systems and Excel interrogating data and unravelling transaction trails to problem solve</li> <li>Be able to work accurately with exceptional attention to detail</li> <li>Be able to use Microsoft Office software and strong computer skills</li> <li>Microsoft D365 experience would be highly preferable.</li> <li>Experience in the motorsport industry would be advantageous but is not essential. </li> <li>Have good interpersonal and communication skills</li> </ul><p> </p> <p><b>What is in it for you?</b></p> <ul><li>Fortescue Zero bonus scheme</li> <li>Aviva Pension</li> <li>Group Life Assurance</li> <li>Group Income Protection</li> <li>Electric Car Scheme</li> <li>Health Cash Plan</li> <li>Employee Assistance Programme</li> <li>Private Medical Insurance</li> <li>26 days holiday <b>plus</b> public holidays and the opportunity to purchase an additional 5 days per year</li> <li>Childcare Benefits</li> <li>Free on-site 24/7 gym access at HQ and discounted national memberships</li> </ul><p> </p> <p><b>Application Deadline:</b></p> <p>The closing date for applications is 20th December 2024.</p> <p><b> </b></p> <p><b>Additional Information</b></p> <p>You do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position.
