The IT Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Integration Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting the successful integration of acquired or merged organisations into the company’s IT landscape. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the technical aspects of IT integration projects, ensuring seamless connectivity, data migration, and system harmonisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent project management abilities, and a keen understanding of business objectives within the context of M&A activities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with M&A, IT, and business stakeholders to assess integration requirements and develop comprehensive IT integration plans.
- Conduct due diligence on the target company’s IT infrastructure, applications, data, and security posture.
- Design and implement integration solutions for networks, systems, applications, and cloud environments.
- Oversee the migration of data, user accounts, and IT services, ensuring minimal business disruption and adherence to compliance standards.
- Identify potential risks and challenges related to IT integration and develop mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with third‑party vendors, consultants, and internal teams to coordinate integration activities.
- Monitor progress, report status updates, and elevate issues as necessary to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
