We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Kirton team in the position of Maintenance Fitter. The purpose of this position is to carry out all mechanical maintenance and repairs according to the works requirements. Your duties would include but not limited to the following: All tasks carried out as part of the daily job role must be done so in a safe manner, adhering to the Risk Assessment, Safe Systems of Work, as well as the Forterra Health and Safety Zero Harm policy. Carry out repairs to production breakdowns in an efficient and safe manner. Carry out shop work duties in an efficient and safe manner. Report all defects to superiors. Carry out all maintenance in an efficient and safe manner. Ensure correct P.P.E. is worn at all times. Ensure all risk assessment/ safe system of work/ permit to work are adhered to. Report all health and safety concerns to management. About You: In house mechanical training and experience, City and guilds, O.N.C.
