The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Measham team in the position of Production Operative. The role holder will play an active part in the product unloading process, to ensure all products packaged are of the best quality, identifying unsuitable products for differing quality, whilst safely maintaining minimum downtime in order to ensure all products are packed to their designated specification, to achieve both the kiln requirements, current output and quality targets.

Shift Pattern: 4 On 4 Off Days Only (22% Shift Allowance)

Your duties would include but not limited to the following:

  • All duties listed below must be carried out safely and effectively.
  • Work and adhere to the Forterra health & safety policy.
  • Constantly monitor each stage of the process.
  • Ensure all breakdowns are recorded.
  • Rectify all stoppages/malfunctions asking for assistance when needed.
  • Ensure all P.P.E is worn at all times.
  • Ensure all housekeeping duties are carried out as and when required.
  • Report all irregularities/health & safety issues to shift managers.
  • When entering any guarded area, LOTOTO procedure must be followed.

About You: The job requires no formal education or qualification, the role does require a minimum of 3 months training from competent operator ensuring close supervision during the period, and a competency check procedure completed on all duties.
