We are currently seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our Hams Hall team.
This role involves overseeing the manufacturing of concrete building blocks for both commercial and residential markets, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all operations.
Your responsibilities include operating plant and equipment safely, participating in various production processes such as concrete batching, manufacturing, and packaging, and handling mobile plant operations.
Main duties include:
- Health & Safety: Upholding safety standards, reporting concerns, adhering to risk assessments, maintaining PPE and equipment, and managing high-risk tasks with permits.
- Quality Systems: Completing process control sheets, following quality protocols, and promoting sustainability.
Candidate Profile:
- Organized, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or within a team.
- Willing to learn and operate manufacturing machinery.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
Qualifications:
- GCSE level literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
- Teamwork experience; factory experience is a plus.
