We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Measham team in the position of Planning Manager.
Your duties would include but not limited to the following:
- Manage day to day and long term planning of stock, production schedules and cost effective delivery areas, providing a link between customer service, manufacturing and transport planning.
- Managing stock profile and stock levels for each factory / distribution location as required.
- Monitor and maintain cost effective delivery areas and sources of supply.
- Produce production schedules for each factory.
- Provide accurate commercial stock forecasts.
- To operate within budgetary and business guidelines.
- Collation and distribution of reports in relation to stock levels and transfers.
- Communicating specific stock constraints or campaigns to internal and external sales teams and other relevant departments.
- Achieving service levels to meet customer expectations.
- Categorising stock for all locations.
- Maintain JDE product data.
- Purchasing of bought finished goods.
- Management of brick cutting process with external suppliers.
- Ongoing development of JDE based planning processes.
- Provide cover for colleagues when required.
About You:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- Extensive experience of production planning processes.
