Fortemus Films is an awards winning video production agency based in London. We create social campaigns, OOH content, TVCs, digital films, key visuals, branded content, sports sponsorship campaigns and much more all over the world and from our London studio.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Executive Producer / Senior Producer to join the team at our award winning, established film and video production agency Fortemus Films based at Kennington Film Studios. Reporting to the Director of Production, you will be overseeing and producing campaign assets which include TVCs, Digital Online Videos (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Tok Tok, etc… ), Key Art Images, OOH Assets, Event Content, Video Podcasts, from creative brief right through to delivery and will need to be experienced in all aspects of the production process.
The Candidate:
- At least 8 years’ experience in video production, advertising, or creative industries, with a portfolio of high‑end commercial, branded, or corporate content.
- Proven capability to produce both location and studio shoots, with confidence in handling complex logistics and creative execution.
- Experience managing live‑action shoots that integrate VFX and GFX elements, including collaboration with post‑production and motion design teams.
- Demonstrated ability to produce stand‑alone 2D & 3D animation projects, working with motion designers or animation studios from storyboard to delivery.
- A proven track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget targets with precision.
- A proactive problem solver who is driven, process‑minded, and hyper‑organised.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, with excellent interpersonal and people management skills — both with teams and clients.
- Experience working with a diverse range of clients, including brands, creative agencies, broadcasters, and corporate organisations.
- Strong skills in managing post‑production pipelines, including QC, mastering, versioning, delivery, and trafficking across digital and broadcast platforms.
- Deep understanding of production workflows, from pre‑production planning to final delivery.
- Fluency with post‑production tools and software, and the ability to speak the same language as editors, colourists, sound designers, and VFX artists.
- Solid working knowledge of contracts, licensing, usage rights, and union regulations.
- Experience managing and mentoring a team of producers, including freelancers and in‑house staff.
- A history of enhancing or implementing production workflows, templates, and scalable systems that improve efficiency and delivery standards.
- International production experience, particularly in the Middle East — ideally having worked with clients in Dubai, Qatar, UAE, or Saudi Arabia.
- A strong commercial mindset — understanding budgets, margins, and profitability.
- Confidence in contributing to new business pitches and growing key accounts.
- A collaborative leadership style that inspires trust and creativity in teams.
- A passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for creative excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the end‑to‑end production lifecycle across multiple concurrent projects, from brief to final delivery.
- Oversee coordination across departments (creative, production, post, and client services) to ensure seamless project execution and communication at every stage.
- Provide clear, consistent project status updates to senior management, proactively flagging risks, opportunities, and delivery milestones.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and agencies, nurturing strong relationships, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout.
- Source, negotiate, and book freelance talent and crew as needed, ensuring the right people are in place to meet each project’s creative and technical needs.
- Maintain the ability to produce under pressure, demonstrating agility, calm decision‑making, and composure in rapidly shifting production environments.
- Manage, mentor, and support junior producers and production staff, contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Identify and implement innovative workflow and process improvements, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and creative excellence.
- Explore the integration of AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and future‑proof the department.
