The Role We have an exciting new opportunity for a permanent Electrician to join us on our responsive repairs and maintenance team at the Orbit Housing branch. This will be covering a patch of social housing properties across Stratford upon Avon and surrounding areas, therefore travel will be part of this role and a full UK driving licence is essential. The core working hours are Monday to Friday :30pm We provide a competitive salary + Company Van, Fuel card and Power Tools.+ Generous paying ON CALL Rota (Approx. Fortem's contract with Orbit Housing covers over 17,000 properties across Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Nuneaton, Northampton, Milton Keynes and Bedford. We have multiple workstreams, including Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and Re-Roofing. Carry out all aspects of maintenance and repairs on all electrical engineering services as required, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of Supervision. Installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations Installation, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report Completing reactive maintenance work as per the specification. Working in partnership with other operatives to complete projects.
