Job Description The role \n Due to continued successful growth, we have an excellent opportunity to join our Fortem team working with Amplius Social Housing group as a permanent Plumber Multi trade Working on the responsive repairs and maintenance team, which uses core Plumbing skills, basic Carpentry and a range of other Multi trade skills which can include, Tiling, Flooring, Windows. \n This is covering a large patch of social housing properties which are based from St Neots to Peterborough and surrounding area so travel is essential \n We provide a Company Van & Fuel card and PPE and Tools!+ Excellent benefits package with generous holiday entitlement + Generous ON CALL every 6-8 weeks rota \n As a Plumber Multi Trade you will be ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of supervision. n Our Services \n Fortem's successful contract with Amplius Social Housing Association supports nearly 15,000 properties, This includes Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Complex Works and FRA workstreams with additional Planned Works and Preventative Maintenance as well. \n Duties and Responsibilities \n \n Completing Full Plumbing and basic Carpentry repairs work for all social housing properties as per the specification, working in a timely and productive manner with specific turnaround deadlines. \n Working in partnership with other operatives to complete projects. \n Recording and submitting accurate data using relevant business systems electronic devices. \n Comply with safeguarding policy and H&S standards at all times. \n Operating within the company's occupational road risk policies and procedures \n Using a PDA smart phone to correspond daily with colleagues to update progress and completion information for your allocated work. \n \n What you will need \n Essential Criteria: \n \n NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent in Plumbing/ OR Qualified by experience will be considered \n Must be able to change Cylinders, carry out bath, Sink, Taps and WC installations independently \n Full UK driving license (Max 5 points) and no recent driving bans \n Must be able to pass basic DBS check \n \n Desirable but not essential: \n \n Social Housing experience \n Unvented G3 \n \n Benefits \n \n Competitive Annual Salary \n We provide a company Van and Fuel card for work purposes + PPE and Tools provided \n Eligible for bonus up to 5% per annum \n 25 days annual leave + bank holidays & your birthday off* (34 days total) \n Pay review every year \n 26 weeks full pay maternity leave \n 8 weeks full pay paternity leave \n Discounted gym memberships at national and local gyms \n Up to £3,000 colleague referral fee \n Vast directory of training on bespoke in-house Learning Management System \n Fortem Advance schemes available for career progression \n 24/7 access to GP appointment for you and your immediate family from Day 1 \n Private pension employer contribution 3-6% of your base salary into your pension pot \n Life Insurance, dental care, private healthcare insurance and eye care vouchers Cycle-to-work scheme, mobile phone provider shopping discounts & more \n \n Who we are and why we are a great place to work \n Fortem are Social Housing property experts.
