Here at Fortem Solutions we have a new permanent opportunity to join our Repairs and Maintenance team at Amplius Housing as a Plumber Multi. We’re looking for someone with core Plumbing skills, basic Carpentry and a range of other Multi Trade skills. As a Plumber Multi Trade you will be responsible for most aspects of property maintenance and repairs to Social Housing Properties covering a patch across Walsall, Birmingham and the surrounding areas, therefore a full, UK driving licence is essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Completing full plumbing and basic carpentry repairs work for all social housing properties as per the specification
- Advising Supervisors in a timely manner when other trades are required
- Working in partnership with other operatives to complete projects
- Recording and submitting accurate data using relevant business systems and electronic devices
- Affording excellent customer service to client representatives and tenants
- Arranging purchase of materials required to deliver the works in a planned and efficient manner
- Complying with safeguarding policy and H&S standards at all times
- Operating within the company’s occupational road risk policies and procedures
- Using a PDA or smartphone to correspond daily with colleagues to update progress and completion information for your allocated work
What You Will Need
Essential Criteria
- Core trade being plumbing, with at least basic skills in multiple other trades, with carpentry ideally being one of them
- Must be able to work solo, without supervision
- Must be able to use a tablet to receive jobs and create notes
- Full UK driving license (maximum 5 points) and no recent driving bans
- Must be able to pass a basic DBS check
