Due to successful growth in our business, we have an exciting permanent opportunity to join Fortem Solutions as a Kitchen & Bathroom Fitter within the planned works team. You will be doing full rip out and re-installing new kitchens for our social housing contract based in Salisbury, Bournemouth and the surrounding areas, so travel is essential. Working Monday-Friday 8.00am-4.30pm with Company Van, Fuel card and Tools provided.

The Customer: Our contract with Stonewater is long term with the option to extend the partnership again. On our contract, we cover over 7,500 houses in 4 different areas of the South-West, from Taunton and Yeovil, over to Bristol and Swindon and down to Salisbury and Bournemouth. We currently deliver Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and an Electrical Service program. Duties and Responsibilities: The role will involve installation of kitchens and bathrooms for a planned programme of works for Social Housing properties, ensuring all pieces of work undertaken are completed to a high standard with the minimum of supervision. You will take ownership of the installation of the kitchens, along with the rest of the team, making sure to operate within the company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill area.

What You Will Need: The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Essential: NVQ/qualifications in relation to relevant trade (Carpentry or Plumbing) or equivalent, however anyone qualified by experience will also be considered.
  • Full driving licence (max 5 points).
  • Desirable: Social housing experience.
