Due to continued successful growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a Bathroom Fitter to join our team. This role involves carrying out repairs and maintenance to Social Housing properties across Salisbury, Bournemouth and the surrounding areas, so travel is essential. Core Hours are Monday-Friday 8.00am-4.30pm – Work Van, Fuel card, Tools provided!
The Customer: Our contract with Stonewater is long term with the option to extend the partnership again. We cover over 7,500 houses in 4 different areas of the South-West – from Taunton and Yeovil, through Bristol and Swindon, down to Salisbury and Bournemouth. We deliver Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and an Electrical Service program. We pride ourselves on our great customer service and the senior leadership team has years of experience within this sector, helping you develop your learning and knowledge base.
Duties & Responsibilities: The role will involve installing bathrooms for a planned programme of works in Social Housing properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with minimal supervision. You will take ownership of the bathroom installation, work with the team, adhere to company Health and Safety guidelines and stay up to date with technical and legal requirements of your trade.
What You Will Need:
- NVQ/qualifications in the relevant trade (Plumbing) or equivalent; experience-qualified candidates will also be considered.
- Full driving licence (max 6 points).
- Social housing experience.
- Company van and fuel card for work purposes.
- PPE provided.
