Fortem Solutions are currently recruiting for a Receptionist to join our head office on a permanent, part time basis, working 8-1 Monday β Friday. This role will be based in our Hitchin office 5 days per week.
The Company
Fortem Solutions are a nationwide business specialising in the Social Housing sector. We provide Repairs & Maintenance, Retrofit, Capital Works and Decarbonisation workstreams within Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for all staff and visitors to the office, providing a professional and friendly welcome.
- Connecting all callers to the appropriate member of staff, taking messages and ensuring they are received by the correct person as soon as possible.
- Monitor all emails to the Central Admin account and action as necessary.
- Monitor staff and visitors signing in and out of the office, to ensure awareness of who is in the office on a daily basis.
- Work as part of the administration team, sharing issues and understanding where you can support others.
- Have an up to date knowledge of branch locations and key members of staff working at each branch.
- Make all hotel bookings and communicate relevant information to individuals.
- Undertake the commercial reporting on a daily basis and communicate with branches.
- Issue DSE checks and collate returns on an annual basis.
What You Will Need
Essential criteria:
- Clear articulate telephone manner.
- Able to communicate effectively across all levels of the business and with all types of people.
- Ability to work as part of the wider team, understanding how the role impacts others and what improvements can be made.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and organise daily workload.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Desirable:
- Experience of reception in a busy environment.
- Fully proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience of reception telephone systems.
