The Role

Due to rapid growth and continuous success, we are delighted to confirm that we are currently recruiting for two Gas Engineers to join our Fortem team at our Orbit branch in Stratford upon Avon.

The Project

The role involves carrying out planned central heating installations, along with gas maintenance servicing to the properties which fall under this contract. Ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of supervision. Carry out fault diagnosis and communicate additional works required back to your Supervisor/Line Manager to ensure all follow-on works have been captured, leaving the resident assured. You will take ownership of work, aiming for ‘First time Fix’ on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. You will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas. Typical work will comprise of day-to-day repairs/maintenance, short duration service, renewal or refurbishment works to properties and void properties. Essential Criteria

  1. GAS Safe Registration CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, MET1, WAT1, CKR1, CPA1 current gas accreditations
  2. Full UK Driving License

Desirable Qualifications

  1. CSCS HAPS Test Certificate + CSCS Skills card
  2. C&G Craft/Advanced Craft Certificate in Heating Engineering and/or plumbing or NVQ 2/3 certificate.
