The Role Due to expansion we are looking for a motivated and professional Quantity Surveyor to join our Northern Projects division. This is a permanent, full time position and will be based in Sheffield/Yorkshire region. This is a growing, long-term secure framework agreements with some of the UK's largest social housing providers. We are looking for an established QS or even Senior QS to play a key role in our commercial management function, providing proactive and timely support. This role will be supporting this established commercial division responsible for the Northern Social Housing Refurbishment Retrofit and Capital Works Projects. Quantity Surveyor responsibilities will include: * Ensure the company secures its full entitlement within the contract. * Ensure project teams meet or exceed budget targets. * Monitor job costs and revenue to support data-driven decisions. * Support financial reporting and cost control governance. * Oversee subcontractor orders, supplier onboarding, and team development. * Utilising our specialist commercial operations platform to generate efficiencies An industry related qualification (ideally QS qualified degree level). * Excellent IT knowledge including a high level of Excel skills (incl. Detailed knowledge of relevant contract conditions * Experience of Management Accounts * Full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel if required by the business. * This is an office based role with site travel where necessary (some hybrid/flexible working can be discussed).
