The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in recruitment, construction, or site coordination to join a fast-paced, collaborative team. Working on a shared labour desk, you will be responsible for sourcing, coordinating, and managing blue-collar construction workers, while building strong relationships with both the client and on-site workforce. This is a site-based role (not remote), working directly on a live project in Plymouth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and place construction and civils operatives (labourers, groundworkers, plant operators)
  • Work collaboratively across a shared labour desk to meet workforce demand
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Coordinate worker bookings, shifts, and availability
  • Manage and resolve workforce issues (attendance, performance, welfare)
  • Support vetting and security clearance processes
  • Ensure full compliance (right-to-work, qualifications, site requirements)
  • Maintain accurate records and internal systems
