Security Guard (Weekends)
Works on construction and civil engineering projects in the role of Security Guard (Weekends). Duties are carried out in line with site rules, method statements (RAMS) and safe systems of work, holding the cards and qualifications listed below.
Provides physical security presence on construction and commercial sites. Patrols the perimeter, monitors CCTV, controls access points, responds to alarms and incidents and produces written incident reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
- SIA (Security Industry Authority)
- Physical security and patrol techniques
- CCTV monitoring and incident reporting
- Conflict management and de-escalation
- First aid awareness
Required Cards & Certifications:
- SIA Security Guard licence (MANDATORY under the Private Security Industry Act 2001)
- Right to Work documentation
- Valid first aid certificate (recommended)
- BS 7858 vetting (5-year screening) where contract requires
