What You Will be doing:
- Provide technical expertise to support the architecture, installation and planning of audio, video and control solutions.
- Complete documentation with a high degree of quality and follow Technical Services Standards. Services include CAD drawings (flows, plans, elevations, details), system descriptions, equipment research, selection, custom product design and system integration.
- Research and analyse the capabilities of available hardware and software options.
- Design audiovisual systems of various hardware and software components that work together as one integrated system and that meet customer’s specific needs.
- Support projects and our team throughout the implementation process.
Requirements to Assure Success:
- 3+ years of Design Engineering experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in the service and installation of audio, video and presentation systems.
- Knowledgeable of control systems (Crestron, QSC, Extron, AMX) and DSP platforms (Biamp, QSC, Clearone, BSS).
- Ability to prepare, understand, and interpret advanced single-line diagrams, architectural, construction, and electrical drawings.
- Knowledge of project financial reports, and the ability to control costs in the design and management of projects is essential.
- Ability to read engineering schematics and communicate design intent.
- CTS and CTS-D certifications are a plus but not required with the right experience. Any other industry related certs or training are also a plus (Ex: Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure etc.).
