We're partnering with a fast-growing, highly regulated business to appoint a Legal Counsel on an initial three-month contract. The role has an immediate start.

You'll take the lead on disputes and investigations, advise on regulatory matters, and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to navigate complex legal and commercial issues.

This is a hybrid role based in Central London with a minimum of 3 days/week in the office.

  • Managing external counsel and ensuring matters are handled efficiently and commercially.
  • Supporting responses to regulatory enquiries and interacting with relevant authorities.
  • Advising on risk, complaints and incident management in a regulated environment.
  • Providing practical legal support across wider areas including employment and data privacy where required.
  • Helping to strengthen legal processes and drive a proactive approach to risk management.

You will be a qualified solicitor or barrister (England & Wales or equivalent) with experience gained in private practice and/or in-house. Strong litigation, disputes or investigations experience is required.

Exposure to regulated sectors such as healthcare, life sciences, technology or financial services is preferred.

A commercial and pragmatic approach to problem-solving is essential, along with experience managing external counsel and balancing legal risk with business objectives.

Interesting and varied disputes and regulatory work await, with immediate impact from day one. Initial 3-month contract with the potential for extension.
