Forte Healthcare is seeking an ambitious and self-driven Territory Manager to join our expanding commercial team. Forte Healthcare is a growing, family-owned veterinary global distributor of innovative healthcare solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinary sales professional who wants the autonomy to truly own their territory, build strong customer relationships, and drive growth across our innovative companion, performance and intensive production animal portfolios.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing business within veterinary practices across the Southwest. You will use your established network, commercial insight, and passion for animal health to support existing accounts, win new business, and deliver sustained revenue growth. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow sales across the companion, performance and intensive production animal product portfolios to veterinary practices within the defined sales territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary practices, key decision-makers, and clinical teams.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and effective pipeline management.
- Deliver engaging client meetings, presentations, and product education sessions to support best practice and optimise product use.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends within the region.
- Data analytics and strategic targeting using Vision CMR and Power BI.
- Meet and exceed sales objectives (including quarterly and yearly targets) ensuring accurate forecasting and timely reporting of performance and activities.
- Conduct competitor analysis – monitoring and reporting on competitor activities as required.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including marketing, customer service, and technical support to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Represent Forte Healthcare at industry meetings, CPD events, exhibitions, and practice training sessions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Territory Manager, Veterinary Account Manager, or similar sales role within the animal health industry.
- Strong existing network of veterinary clients within the Southwest.
- Demonstrated success in field-based sales with the ability to build rapport quickly and close deals effectively.
- Highly self-motivated, organised, and driven to exceed targets.
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills and the ability to educate clients at all levels.
- Full UK driving license and willingness for significant travel within the defined territory, including overnight stays.
- Background working within a high-growth sales environment.
- Experience supporting CPD events or providing product training to clinical teams.
- Knowledge of the UK veterinary landscape and market trends.
